Sterling Knight (born March 5, 1989) is an American actor. Knight began his career onstage in location productions of On Golden Pond, Lost in Yonkers, Bye Bye Birdie and The Mad Adventures of Mr. Toad.
Onscreen, he played roles in minor productions before playing Lilly's cheating boyfriend on an episode of Hannah Montana. He then played guest roles on The Closer and Grey's Anatomy before making his major feature film debut playing Matthew Perry and Zac Efron's character's son, Alex O'Donnell in 17 Again. Knight is currently playing Chad Dylan Cooper in the Disney Channel Original Series, Sonny With a Chance.
